Image Classification

I'm interested in using JMP/JSL to do some classification on semiconductor wafer images. Ideally I would like to do this using training images in a machine learning type scenario. Where would one start, is JMP the right tool for this job?

Re: Image Classification

@thickey1
   I would also like to add that your choice should also take into consideration the strength of the image processing library the platform has to offer. I have personally not done any image processing in JSL - however , I know that R and Python have some extensive image processing libraries . So - look into that as well as both the open source platforms do offer good machine learning models.

Take a look at Don Kent's (IM Flash) Discovery paper.

@JohnPonte's ImageAnalyzer add-in and Image Example JSL may point you in some good directions also.
