How to unlock columns in subset

Hello,

I'd like to do one of two things:

- unlock a column in a table subset

- delink the subset so that the columns aren't locked

I understand why this restriction exists, but I'd like to circumvent it, if possible.

Thanks,

Stefan

Re: How to unlock columns in subset

Hi sfkeydel,

When you create the subset you can choose to have it linked or not.

Is there some other process/script that you're not in control of that is creating the subset?

If you've already got a linked subset the only way to unlink it is to save it to disk, close it, and re-open it.

Re: How to unlock columns in subset

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for this. My specific use case involves using the Data Filter, and then choosing "Show Subset" via the red disclosure triangle; in this instance, I don't see an option to link or not. However, your recommendation does the trick.

Thanks again,

Stefan
