How to plot a histogram with unequal widths

From SAS I have got a table with the optimal binning information (lower bound and upper bound of the bin, frequency and group).

Is there a way to plot these in JMP?

Re: How to plot a histogram with unequal widths

I contacted support and this option is simply not possible in JMP.

Re: How to plot a histogram with unequal widths

Hi FN,

I think what you're trying to achieve look like a mekko bar chart.
I don't know the answer to realize a similar chart as in your example on JMP, but a similar topic and interest was brought here : Mekko Bar chart JMP
It may be possible to use stacked bar chart instead, mosaic plot, or one of the solutions provided on the topic above :)
I hope it will help you,
Victor

Re: How to plot a histogram with unequal widths

Thanks, it is indeed an option but it does not achieve the same output (being harder to explain?).

Hi @FN,
I just see a topic that may interest you, created by Scott Wise on JMP Public and showing how to realize a Barmekko chart.
