How to optimize multiple Y variables

Hello, I need to define optimal settings of 2 process parameters taking into account multiple Y variables (in JMP 18.1). For example: the optimal Temperature and Time settings to obtain a cake with maximum leavening and minimum humidity content.

It seems that through "Custome profile" you could only maximize (or minimize) both Y variables.

Re: How to optimize multiple Y variables

You are on the right path with the profiler. Make sure you load it up with 2 prediction columns (both Y's). Then turn on the desirability functions, and control click the graphs on the right with the desirability curves. Then adjust the goals to your liking and then maximize desirability from the hotspot menu.
