How to copy a script to another data table (with same column names) - and make it work

Copying a script for Tabulate in one JMP table to another, that has the same column names, does not work, for me.

It only opens the Tabulate function, but does not execute the commands. It doesn't even open Tabulate with the Control shown.

I've just copied the script in the first table and pasted it into the other table. Help, please, it'll save a lot of work.

make sure the continuous/ordinal/nominal attribute is set the same in the new table.  Check the JMP log window for messages.
