How do you treat missing values as nulls rather than zero's in graph builder?

I'm having difficulty producing graphs in graph builder (JMP 12) that accurately present missing values as absent rather than "zero" values. Can anyone provide instructions on how to correct this situation?

Thank you in advance!

The option Include Missing Categories may be on. Look under the Graph Builder red triangle menu and deselect if checked.

If Include Missing Categories is selected by default it can be turned off in Preferences/Platforms/Graph Builder.
