How can I draw a bar chart of in-service and out-service by day?

The data table has three columns, name, date of entry and date of exit. How can I draw a bar chart of in-service and out-service by day? Everyone has two years of entry date. Do you do a formula column every day? So troublesome!!! Is there a good way?
