Extrapolation Control, in which models can I use it

Dear all,

I did use Extrapolation Control (JMP Pro 16.1) for some regression models as an option of the Prediction Profiler.

Recently I tried to switch it on for a Boosted Tree model, but I could not find it in the red triangle menu of the Prediction Profiler.

Is extrapolation control limited to some kind of models?

I was not easily able to find some hints on this, perhaps anyone knows?

Re: Extrapolation Control, in which models can I use it

Hi Georg,

You can find the extrapolation control in the following platforms in JMP Pro 16:

Standard least squares

Neural

Generalized Regression

Naïve Bayes

Support Vector Machines (SVM)

Partial Least Squares (PLS)

Structural Equation Models (SEM)

Profiler from the Graph menu (which profiles any equation)

I hope this helps.
