Error to be added after running DoE experiments for Monte Carlo Simulation

Hello, 

 

We have run a full factorial design with two factors and two responses with 2 replicates for each experiment.

Response y1 was measured using Method1 : a method of reference (precise but costly). 

In the meanwhile, another method was developed and will be used in the future for response y1. The error for Method2 estimated using hundreds of runs is 2.8%.

 

The question is : For Monte Carlo simulation runned to estimate proven acceptable ranges, is there anyway to include error for Method2 ? 

For example: Is it possible to replace RMSE for y1 by the one for Method2 ?

Within the framework of the Prediction Profiler additional random variation with mean = 0 and a specified standard deviation can be added to the response. See this entry in the JMP online documentation:
