By exploring what JMP can do. Good starting point is Essential Graphing . There is also plenty of material you can find from Learn JMP - Data Exploration and Visualization .
To see what is possible with Graph Builder for example, you can explore Master List – Pictures from the Gallery – Advanced Graph Building Series

Also...post some data, an explanation, and your first attempt at a graph and ask "how can I make this better?" The community members are from every field and want to help.
(You can attach a JMP data table and the JSL script saved from the red triangle menu on any platform to make it easier for someone to reproduce your graph.)
