DOE outcome

How do I analyze this question? I have DOE outcome but I have no idea what JMP information need to attach for this question.
Please give some comment if anyone know about this.
Thanks

Re: DOE outcome

I would suggest that the first step is to take the table in the document and convert it into the plain "data rectangle" format that JMP needs, with variables as columns, rather than rows.

Re: DOE outcome

Hi Phil Kay,
Thanks for your prompt response.
I have no idea what is data rectangle.
Could you further elaborate this?
Thanks.

Re: DOE outcome

Sure.

Like I said above, in JMP each column is a variable and each row is an observation or "unit of measurement".

I think that in your case each row is one of the trials of the robot system. So 24 rows in total.

Variables are the things that we know about each observation. They can be "inputs"/"predictors" or "outputs"/responses". I think that in your case you would want columns for Delay, Cycle, Method (standard / simplified), and Time.

With the data formatted in this way you should be able to perform analyses to answer the questions about this system.

I hope that helps.

Re: DOE outcome

Hi Phil,
Thanks for your response.
What type of analyzes are compatible for this question? e.g: distribution, fit Y by X, process capability or control chart.
I'm looking forward your feedback.
