DF and Lost DFs

Good evening all,

I have this error has shown in the image attached especially for effect of species in the image which shows zero. I have looked at previous questions addressing this but it doesn't seem to clarify my issue. Why would it recognise a Nparm but fail to recognise the DF?

Also, why the Lost DFs error?

Re: DF and Lost DFs

Is this an observational study or a designed experiment?

You appear to have 3 Date, 6 Hour, and 6 Species, correct?

Did you a Singularity report at the top of the Fit Least Squares platform?

Re: DF and Lost DFs

Usually this is because the model is over-specified.  You have less DF's available in the data set than the model you specified and JMP usually gives a Singularity "message" as Mark suggests.
