Comparison of performance of laboratory equipment (liquid handlers)
Angela Manginelli – GSK Vaccines
What can a laboratory manager do when some of the equipment of his lab is not working properly, and this fact negatively effects the measurements of important parameters used in an assay validation? Two things:
1. Lock up one of his lab assistant in the laboratory until he/she figures out what the root cause of the problem is (and this could take up to 12 days!)
2. Ask a statistician to analyze in JMP the acquired data, in order to establish if the lab assistant can finally be released.
In this poster I will show how JMP was successfully used to rescue the unfortunate lab assistant. The poster includes some basic scripting, a few graphical tools and statistical models used in the analysis.
