Topic: Using JMP and Excel Together: JMP Interacting with Excel Slide Deck
We had a great meeting, lots of discussion around tips and tricks for moving data between JMP and Excel. The case study where I took a collection of Excel forms and build something like a collection of relational database tables is included with this post. The script for extracting a range of cells from multiple tables along with a couple of example excel files to use as targets are in the zip file.
We also did a quick forward looking overview of the the JMP 12 Query Builder. This new feature generated a lot of interest and looks like it will have a high degree of utility for many of the members in the Charlotte JUG.
