The concept of Map Shape is the task of drawing the frame of a map, unlike maps provided on the Internet. JMP provides instructions on how to use these features so that users can easily utilize them (refer to the link below for details).
Create Maps
Basically, the Map Shape provided in JMP was as follows.
If you look on the right, Canada / Italian / German / Japan / China / UK / US, etc. are provided, but unfortunately Korea was not on the list.

The attached KOR-NAME.jmp and KOR-XY.jmp files support that function.
Please copy the two files to the path below. Administrator permission may be required when copying.
C:\Program Files\SAS\ JMPPRO\14 \Maps
The blue part of the path above may vary depending on the user's JMP product and version.
ex) For users using JMP 13 Version, C:\Program Files\SAS\ JMP\13 \Maps
If you copied two files while running JMP, After JMP ends Please run it again.
In general, by dragging the 50 states of the United States onto a Map Shape, you could automatically obtain the following topographic map of the United States.

To obtain a topographic map of Korea, you can easily draw a topographic map of Korea using the data below (please pay attention to the variable name Region).

Now you can easily draw a topographic map of Korea as shown below. The variable name does not matter (Region / Region / City, etc.). However, you only need to type correctly the abbreviated areas such as Seoul/Busan/Gwangju (17 regions). Then drag Region to Map Shape. end!

As above, the analysis using the topographic map of the Korean Peninsula was shared through JMP Public. Please refer to the link below.
