Anders Simmelkjær Laraignou, a Ph.D. student at Aarhus University, researches how game-based learning fundamentally transforms engagement with complex subjects. He specializes in designing and facilitating educational board games using design thinking and co-creation principles. As a founding member of the Board Game Collective, he shows how hands-on playtesting and collaborative mechanics foster deeper understanding and improve team-based problem-solving skills, applying didactic theory to practical game design.
