Check Out the New Kid on the Block! Introducing the New JMP Technical Resources Space!

Discover a new space all about the technical side of JMP!

Over the past few months, JMP R&D has been hard at work preparing a special space where you can find resources on the technical content of JMP. We also wanted an area to showcase some of the research our staff have been participating in external to JMP. And now, the time has come to share it with the world!

We know you have questions, so to help you, we've provided this conveniently optimized list that we're sure should address most of them

Who?

The content and organization of this space is created and maintained by JMP Research and Development. We hope to provide a rich repository of technical information over time that our users can reference in their work.

What?

The material found in this space will serve myriad purposes. You will find information about our published research, conference presentations, and patents. Current technical discussions will appear in a new R&D blog. Reference material separate from JMP documentation will also appear as technical reports and, eventually, a video library.

Why?

We wanted to highlight the technical contributions of JMP R&D staff and provide a permanent repository for our technical resources. Other spaces in the JMP Community have their particular focus, but for the most part, they are intended to foster communication and outreach to our users. As such, their content tends to change over time to stay current. Technical resources are generally less transient, so a separate space is the best way to ensure long-term benefits.

When?

The new space is available now! We're starting a bit small, but our content will almost certainly grow over time. You might find some historical material previously found in other areas of the JMP Community. We do not intend to restore all the historical material but can restore such material when requested, if possible.

Where?

This new space is part of the JMP Community. You can find it alongside all the other spaces you use. Be sure to check it out!

How

As part of the JMP Community, a healthy and vibrant technical site will require contributions from JMP R&D and your participation. Please leave comments to let us know what you think about the new site, new content, and future directions.

We hope you find the new site interesting and helpful!
