This guide provides instructions on publishing reports to JMP Public – a public website https://public.jmp.com where users can share graphs and reports that others can view and interact with outside of JMP. A SAS profile is required.
Publish Reports to JMP Public
- From within a JMP file, open the graphs or output you wish to publish. The graph “Bubble Plot by Region” from the file: SATbyYear.jmp under Help>Sample Data Folder will be used for this exampe.
- Select File > Publish > Publish Reports to JMP Public.
- You’ll be prompted to sign in to your My JMP account. If you do not have an account, click Create profile and follow the steps.
- A window will appear listing the reports available to publish. Select the ones you wish to publish. Here we have only one
graph (Bubble Plot).
- Choose to Publish a new report or replace an existing one. Click Next.
- Choose a location by selecting an existing folder or creating a new folder. Click Next.

Provide a Title and Description for your report. Click Next.
- Choose to Publish a new data table. Click Publish.
- Your report(s) will be published to https://public.jmp.com.
- Some interactive features are available to those viewing the report (e.g., selecting data points, displaying labels for data values, hiding and excluding data, and the column switcher and local data filters if they were setup when the graph and/or analysis output was created).
- You can download the associated data table(s) and JSL scripts for a report.
- You can update or delete reports you’ve published.
- Reports can be shared via social media (Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
- Search features are available on https://public.jmp.com to search for people or posts.
- You can also publish reports to a location on your own computer or a network using File > Publish > Publish to File
NOTE: JMP Public is a public online communication channel. Do not publish data and reports not suitable for public distribution.
