Set Specification Limits

You can set specification limits on a column and enable them to show on graphs, as follows:

  1. Right-click on the column that you want to set specification limits for and select Column Properties > Spec Limits.
  2. Enter any of the following: a lower specification limit, an upper specification limit, or a target value.
  3. Select the Show as Graph Reference Lines check box.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Perform any analysis to produce a graph.

The graph contains the reference lines indicating the specification limits for the column. You can clearly see which data falls within the specification limits.
