Published on ‎08-26-2025 11:50 AM by Community Manager Community Manager | Updated on ‎11-25-2025 08:28 AM

The latest release of JMP and JMP Pro brings a variety of time-saving and analytic enhancements, ranging from data management to advanced predictive modeling. This session highlights how to use some of the key new capabilities, including:

  • Data Tables -  data grid, rows, columns and script panels
  • Graph Builder - jitter, smoother and multiple Y-axis capabilities
  • Data Connectors – accessing data and creating/sharing mass customized data connectors
  • Third-party Extensions – improved Python integration, new data access options, improved JSL integration, ability to handle more objects, upgraded Python package management, restored SAS and R integrations
  • Notebooks - storing information
  • Process Screening and Environmental Monitoring – extended process screening distributions, counts, limits and alarm reports for big and wide count and continuous data
  • Bayesian Optimization – interactive, active learning technique for experimentation and optimization to identify the most promising new combinations of inputs to test
  • Causal Inference – fit models using causal treatment option to see if X causes Y

Thank you for the great introduction to JMP19.

Filter Views are a wonderful new feature! I love how easy it is now to "zoom to the selected rows".
For an alternative approach, please have a look at the new feature in the Quickselect Toolbar:
https://community.jmp.com/t5/Discussions/Add-a-Custom-Button-or-Embed-Data-Filter-into-Custom-UI/m-p...
It allows fully interactive drilldown between Reports and the Data Grid - just select some data points - drill down (via the grey hand in the toolbar) - analyze the data - and once you are done, just use the same button again to "zoom out".
