Modeling Sensor and Spectral Data

Presented in English
Published on ‎05-27-2026 05:24 PM by Community Manager Community Manager | Updated on ‎06-01-2026 10:24 AM

See how to analyze sequential measurement data when the measurements you want to analyze are not single points, but a range of points presented as curves. Examples include chemical spectra, sensors, and batch or streaming data. Learn how to effectively use the entire data set rather than selected points in the curve to provide immediately interpretable results, including graphs commonly used to understand this type of data.

This webinar covers: preparing data, reducing dimensionality, breaking down data into shape components and scores, using Generalized Regression to understand how inputs affect the curve’s shape.

Suggested Prerequisites

  • Familiarity with curved data
  • Basic understanding of predictive modeling
  • Experience or familiarity with JMP Pro
