Dennis Lendrem explains why design of experiments is essential for discovery

Scientists, researchers, engineers, and data explorers need to do more with less in these times of budget cuts and disappearing research funds. Fortunately, we have brilliant scientist, statistician, and author Dennis Lendrem, who shares his wisdom on using the right tools to learn from data more efficiently and effectively in the next Statistically Speaking on July 23 at 1 p.m. ET.

We are fans of his LinkedIn newsletter, Apes in Lab Coats, as well as the subsequent books. The stories he shares reflect his extensive experience in industry and the years he spent  collaborating with scientists (many who are or were reluctant to use statistics). Not only are these stories informative, but they are also quite witty with explanations of British slang cleverly incorporated.

We hope you’ll join us for Statistically Speaking and check out Lendrem’s newsletter and books. The next book in this series is due in November; from the description, it promises to be a good one!
