it will be great if user can have option to show cell median and connect cell median in variability chart(box plots). Reason being that when you have very skewed data, the mean is very misleading.
Thank you for the suggestion. Can you describe a situation where this is needed. We understand that robust measure may provide a better understanding of the center of the data, but we want to understand the use case better.
Also, you can create a more customized variability chart. view using Graph Builder, and you could use the median as the summary statistic for the Line element in the plot
