Scale histogram axis to distribution tails

I'd like an option so that when you fit a distribution, the axis of the histogram would scale to the +/- 3 stdev of the distribution (and equivalent for non-normal).  When you have sparser data the current scaling will just encompass the data range and much of the fitted distribution will not show.  This means you have to manually go in and scale the histograms, which can be tedious if you have lots of columns.

Default (i know, horrible example as this obviously isn't a normal distribution)

Ideally option to make this the default:

Thanks!
