Project scripts and project variables similar to data table scripts and data table variables

I would like to have project scripts and project variables similar to data table scripts and data table variables.  Sometimes I have a property that is common to several tables I have open, for example, customer name.  I would like to change a project variable "customer" and have it update the formulas that reference it in the open data tables.

Note that projects have their own global namespace, so assigning and using a global variable for your case might be appropriate. You would need to script some sort of user interface to make them visible/editable though.
