Nonlinear fit 'by' iteration automation

What inspired this wish list request?

I am trying to perform non-linear fits of my data to a custom equation in a column. In the non-linear fit platform, I have to manually scroll down nearly 100 separate fits to manually press the 'go' button for the iteration to fit the equation to the data for each variable in the 'by' grouping. It's so tedious, and could be solved by a button in the top triangle menu which says something like 'fit all'.

What is the improvement you would like to see?

A way of automating the process - a single click that works through each set of fits and runs the iteration for each.

It would also be awesome to have the ability to do other 'global' operations like set bounds for parameters across the whole set rather than having to type the same numbers time and time again. Alternatively, it would be extremely helpful if the ability to add custom functions to the function library could be done so that they could utilise the 'grouped' fitting capability available in the 'fit curve' analysis platform.

Why is this idea important?

Currently we are limiting the number of fits that can be performed sequentially to the use

If you hold the control key when you click "Go", it broadcasts that to all the By groups.

There is also an "Auto Broadcast" command on the top level outline that will do this for you also.

Hello @JMPinthePool , did you try the broadcast option by holding the control key and click the "go" button, or using the "broadcast" option in the red triangle. Is that helping what you are asking for?

@Valerie_Nedbal @MathStatChem Thank you so much for pointing that out!

But it doesn't solve the situation where i would like to apply the same bounds to all By groups, or where a matrix summary of all fits like you get in the Fit Curve platform would be useful?
