MDS Plot in Hierarchical Clustering

Can we get a multidimensional scaling (MDS) plot in hierarchical cluster analysis?  The lower dimensional plot of the point cloud is useful for visualizing the separation of the clusters.  While the dendrogram is good at visualizing the nested sequence of merges, it does not give a good representation of the separation of clusters.  There is a complementary relationship between the two methods—while hierarchical clustering is good at representing the larger dissimilarities, MDS is good at representing the smaller dissimilarities in data (Kruskal 1964). The two plots seen together is a much more powerful visualization than just looking at the dendrogram.  This is like the MDS plot shown in Latent Class Analysis in JMP.
