What inspired this wish list request?
Local data filters in JMP Live take a long time to be applied.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
Local data filters with quick data refresh on charts/visualizations. I understand it is a tricky one based on JMP Live architecture, but hopefully adjustments can be made to increase the speed of visualizations refreshing when the local data filter is changed in JMP Live. If some kind of background or pre-loading can be done that would be awesome - for example the tab box functionality works well for going back and forth between pre-loaded graphs although using tab boxes gets tricky when there are many groups to choose from in many combinations.
Initial page load in general can take a long time with large data sets as well.
Why is this idea important?
Interactive dashboards is one of our two biggest value props for JMP Live (control charts with triage is the other). If the dashboards are not interactive or are painfully slow, it is harder to continue to justify JMP Live compared to other solutions.
