Hello,
I've encountered significant performance issues with large datasets and complex analysis in JMP and I'd like to suggest the following:
1. Can JMP be enhanced to run on GPUs and/or workstations (Windows or Linux) with multi-threading?
2. When a project is saved, the analyses are stored as scripts, which are rerun each time the project is reopened. With large datasets and complex analyses, this can take considerable amounts of time (hours). I have a number of saved projects that I doubt I can ever realistically open again. Is there a way to speeden this up? For example, can the user be given the option to save the project in a different mode where the reports are stored "live" (i.e., can be modified) but without having to regenerate them each time the project is re-opened? This may perhaps increase the file size on disk but in this day and age, that's not as significant of a concern.
Thanks and regards
