We consider several factors when looking for what ideas to add to JMP. This includes what will have the greatest benefit to our customers based on scope, needs and current resources. Product ideas help us decide what features to work on next. Additionally, we often look to ideas for inspiration on how to add value to developments already in our pipeline or enhancements to new or existing features.

Fit Curve Model Comparison functionality

In the Specialized Modeling menu, I frequently find the need to compare curve fitting models.  It might be nice to have an easy way to compare all curve fitting models within a particular submenu (e.g., polynomials, sigmoid, multiple parameter logistic, exponential growth and decay).  I was wondering if a menu item could be added to compare the curve-fitting of appropriately grouped curve fitting models (analogous to the functionality in the Distribution menu for comparing the various possibilities in the Continuous Fit menu by selecting "All").

YES!! I would 100% support this - I am regularly looking for non-linear curves to fit my data and having to go through them all one by one to try to find one that fits is quite tedious.

Best regards.
