What inspired this wish list request? CUSUM chart is a great diagnostic tool for detecting small shifts, but does not show original data. Would be nice to overlay the Control Chart Builder for I-MR, X-bar R/S with CUSUM on same window to assist in diagnostics. Currently have two separate graphs that can combine in a dashboard, but have to work to keep the scales around the same.
What is the improvement you would like to see? Currently Control Chart Builder allows some options like "Three Way Control Chart" and "Switch to IMR Chart". If a simllar function could be added for CUSUM, EWMA, the graphs would be more like a Three Way Control Chart where all the data is lined up for the same x-axis. The control panel for CUSUM may need to be moved to the right side under the Limit Summaries table, or further under the Control Chart Builder control panel on the left side.
Why is this idea important? Improves the ability to look for trends and signals in both the standard control chart with actual data plotted to actual Y values, as well as having the standardized CUSUM values or EWMA values.
