What inspired this wish list request?
The JMP seminar on Nov 19 showed the JMP marketplace with different connectors.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
One of the connectors that I noticed was one to connect to Salesforce and that made me wonder if something similar could be added to pull QA testing results from an MRP, such as ODOO which is what my company uses.
Why is this idea important?
I haven't looked into how accessible that data is via an API or database, but it could make it very easy to pull in production data and run control charts or perform root cause analysis.
Currently, we're working on scaling up our production and just starting to get to a point where process control is very important. As a startup, one of the things we're thinking about a lot is what that workflow will look like and what tools will be part of that workflow. I think that a connection between two of the tools that we've already chosen would be very useful.
