What inspired this wish list request?
When making a graph (e.g. using graph builder), any saved spec limits can be shown as reference lines. The default is a light blue, thin line which is often too thin to see easily (especially when copying graphs for a presentation).
On a per graph basis the thickness/colour etc can be changed (by using the axis settings) but this takes a long time for many graphs (for example if many control charts are made).
When saving a script the changes are saved, but they then no longer update if the spec limits are changed later.
Any new graphs also have to be edited manually each time.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
Allow a platform wide preference for spec limit reference lines (colour/thickness etc). This could be saved as part of the new "platform presets" or as an install-wide preference?
Why is this idea important?
This would make the spec limit feature more useful and let graphs be easier to understand visually.
