Allow Variability/Attribute chart to be on the menu bar

What inspired this wish list request? I often need to use the Analyze-Quality and Process-Variability/Attribute Gauge Chart and I can't figure out how or if it is possible to put on the menu bar

What is the improvement you would like to see? Allow any chart to be placed on the menu bar.

Why is this idea important? It may save time for others too, certainly not critical

Hello @cdd5881, First of all thank you for your request!  I also love the Variability/Attribute Gage platform and used (and still use it) extensively when exploring my data.  There are many powerful features inside this platform and they cover many core areas of applied statistical engineering (e.g. in quality control and six sigma thinking), in any industrial engineering field.

In this case since this functionality you requested already exists, I can provide some guidance on getting what you need.

In the future, if you're unsure please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@jmp.com and we can help steer you in the right direction.

Here goes:

From either the JMP Home Window or any JMP Window (you'll be able to add this icon in both places if you want),

Right Click > Customize > Menus and Toolbars:

Go to the Analyze submenu right click over one of the menu items in the Menu display tree in the panel on the left hand side of the JMP Menu Editor window,

then select > Insert  Before or > Insert After.

Click the command Command radio button, then click OK:

Go straight to the Built-in Command Action (ensure the radio button is selected for "Built-in command"), then select the one you want from the dropdown menu corresponding to that selection:

Click OK and the shortcut will be added:

By the way, if you really want to go bananas with this, check out this amazing presentation given by @shampton82 from our Discovery Series. It's not about getting the shortcuts to appear, but what you can do with them once you get there: Stay in the Flow With Custom Scripts and Toolbars (2022-US-30MP-1081) - JMP User Community.
