What inspired this wish list request?
Trying to move my preferences between few PCs and running into issues when ALL preferences were exported instead of just changed. For example I'm not really sure if I would really like to set incorrect CPUID as it seems to be included in Get Preferences()
What is the improvement you would like to see?
Add << Changed option to Get Preferences(). It can already be found from Get Platform Preferences() Utility Functions (jmp.com) . With this we could get the list of the preferences user has changed. You could also provide function such as "Get Default Preferences" so we could always check the default preferences JMP uses.
Why is this idea important?
Makes it easier to take backups or move JMP preferences between different laptops when not ALL preferences are copied over.
