What inspired this wish list request?
Participating in JMP Lab during JMP Discovery Summit Europe 2023 where I did use Projects (I don't really use them, but I do see that there could be potential) with multiple data tables and reports at the same time.
What is the improvement you would like to see?
Add grouping option based on hierarchy level (data table at least) in Projects sheet/tab selector. Below is short example on what I would like to see.
Starting situation: I have two tables open (Probe and Big Class) and both have two reports
What I would like to see is to have my reports grouped by their data table(s), for example in this simple case I would like to have something like this
or sometimes I might want to have the reports of the other data table be hidden
With JMP there are cases where I will have linked data tables and I think they should behave in similar manner (though they don't behave this way in Window list either). In this case I have created linked summary table from Probe and distribution from that linked table
Why is this idea important?
Improves the UI and UX (user interface and user experience) of JMP Projects by providing more content organization options.
