This week, we launched the JMP Marketplace. Our goal? To create an easy place for JMP users to find valuable and exciting extensions, data connectors, Python add-ins, and more – all in one convenient website.
For this initial launch, we’ve curated a set of add-ins and extensions from JMP staff around the world, ensuring that they are tested, documented, and can work on JMP 18 – the latest version of JMP.

The JMP Marketplace is the new home for extensions that expand upon what JMP can do. JMP is the gold standard of general-purpose analytic tools, but the JMP Marketplace now makes it possible – and easy – to share data connectors for custom data sources, as well as Pythonic add-ins with a JMP user interface. Users can take advantage of a Python package, yet still maintain the familiar workflow of JMP. It also allows us to build industry-specific add-ins to meet the analytic needs of a particular industry.
We are very excited about the set of add-ins that are in the initial launch of the JMP Marketplace, but we are even more excited about YOUR contributions. Starting today, you can submit your add-ins to the JMP Marketplace!
Why would you want to submit your extension to the JMP Marketplace? Here are just a few of the scenarios we envision:
- You have a useful set of JSL functions or analytic routines that save you time and increase efficiency.
- You've used the integrated Python interface in JMP 18 to build a custom analytic add-in that takes advantage of a Python package.
- You've created something that you use in your own industry to increase the efficiency of your data analysis and now you'd like to share it with colleagues in the same industry.
- Or maybe some great idea that we can't even imagine.
We’d love to include your extension in the JMP Marketplace. We want it to grow into a vibrant and useful library of tools that scientists and engineers around the world can use to expand the scope of how JMP is used.
