Search Online JMP Documentation

Description

This little add-in puts a button under Help in JMP to search JMP's online documentation for your current version of JMP or the JMP Community Site.  There is a Little Red Triangle Menu button that provides the capability to archive your searches from a session either as a JMP Report, or as a Journal using the Little Red Triangle Menu on the Search History window.

With MacOS the add-in creates a window (utilizing JMP's imbedded web browser) that can be docked in projects or moved to a second monitor:

Note that opening the Search Outline Item at the top and entering in a new search term will result in the add-in creating a new tab in the window, keeping things nice and tidy.

On Windows, the add-in currently opens the search in the default web browser for the host machine or creates a new tab if the browser is already open.  The search window will stay open to give access to the archive feature.

The add-in is currently limited to releases of JMP >= 16.0.

To use, select the add-in from the Help menu:

Type the search term into the box and hit enter on your keyboard or press search on the utility.  You can also select if you want to search the JMP Documentation or the JMP Community posts.

    Great Add-In. Powerful time saver.

This is a nice Idea, but unfortunately that add in doesn't work with my JMP 17, maybe I did something wrong?
