Afternoon project, just for fun. Uses JMP's OpenGL interface and Scheduler. Use your mouse to rotate the scene. The shadow is created by squishing a second copy of the model and placing it just above the floor. The checkerboard is not much larger than it appears; the fog is set to hide the edge. This would make a great villain to go in the rat maze example that ships with JMP, but someone would have to make spider do more than walk in place.
Look underneath the "table" and you can see the spider's legs poking through . . . pretty cool
