Meeting of French-speaking users of JMP 2022 - Challenge
Hi there,
Following this beautiful day of September 22, for those who would like to continue exploring the data proposed for the challenge, you will find them associated with this post. As a reminder, these are data from different databases taken from the SNCF website: https://ressources.data.sncf.com/pages/accueil/
Including: lost items, with details of product categories, number of travelers (and their companions), number of incidents (related to station cleanliness)
The questions around these data are:
- In which region or department does it rain the most?
- Where are the most objects lost?
- What are the most valuable items for travellers?
- What should train ridership have been in 2020 and 2021 without COVID?
Don't hesitate to continue discussing the subject!
Florence

Hello @flo_kussener !
I posted on JMP Public (after small graphical improvements) the work of the green team!
The graphs have been slightly improved, but the background work and modeling (especially on the last question with the simple regression) has not been modified.

Sorry Victor, following these changes the jury is withdrawing its prize to award it to the red and blue teams ex-aequo!

Re: JMP 2022 French-speaking Users Meeting - Challenge
More seriously, if some people want to try to dig a little deeper into the challenge, there is some SNCF data here on the age of passengers in the station...
Perhaps correlated with the number (and nature) of lost objects
