   Value Markers  will reduce issues with Markers in Graph Builder.

Row states are nice workarounds.
on the other hand: very dangerous! (static, they don't adapt when values change!)

additional "legends" can be added by adding additional point plots
(with points outside of the current plot region)

... and row states can be used as dirty hack to assign the markers to the corresponding rows.
