Widen Your View - How to handle LOD/LOQ data

Modern data analytics platforms like JMP help scientists and engineers to tackle the most complex process and product development challenges. Leveraging advanced analytics techniques can especially help to get a complete understanding about your processes with the least possible amount of engineering time.

Limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantitation (LOQ) are two important performance characteristics in method validation. LOD and LOQ are slightly different terms, the latter is used to describe the smallest concentration of an analyte that can be reliably measured by an analytical procedure.

In this webinar you will see and learn several approaches (and their challenges) about how to handle LOD/LOQ data in your experiments and measurements. We talk about using censoring to generate better insights, and do variable selection on top of predicton.
