Transfer data from/ Excel/VBA to JMP and get data back to VBA

Hi, I'd like to describe what I need in order to have some kind of automation I'm planning.

I have a report I've already generated using Excel/VBA and I'm missing a distribution graph from JMP which is currently being made manually

And added to the report.

I'd like to know how can I send the data from Excel to JMP, generate the distribution graph and save it back to my excel sheet.

 

To be specific, let's say I have the data for the dist. graph on my "rawData" sheet at range(A1:A1000) in excel and would like to save the dist. graph from JMP to the "DistGraph" sheet.

If you are already familiar with OLE and VBA, then the JMP Automation Reference should get you started.
