Row and Column Names, Axis Labels not visible in JMP 16

I recently moved from JMP 14 to JMP 16.

When opening a project, the Row and Column names are not shown automatically,

only after they are selected.

In Graph Builder, the axis labels are not visible, except on the axis settings page.

Is this an issue with the package I downloaded, or am I missing something?

Thank you,

Tom

Re: Row and Column Names, Axis Labels not visible in JMP 16

This sounds like it might be related to a known issue with some newer laptops, see this JMP Note which JMP Support gave me along with the info below. If that doesn't solve it I recommend contacting JMP support for this one.

Please review that note for more information.  To resolve the issue, we recommend you navigate to File Preferences Windows Specific  Enable hardware accelerated graphics. Deselect the preference and then click Apply and restart JMP.

Thanks for the feedback.

Since I am running Mac OS Catalina, it must be a different issue.

More specifically, the labels do not appear until a text color is chosen in

the table or graph Properties.
