Retrieve fit model simulator settings from simulated data tables

Is there a way to retrieve fit model simulator settings (random noise, lower and upper effect range, etc.) used to generate the simulated data table from the simulated data table?

Re: Retrieve fit model simulator settings from simulated data tables

yes, kind of...

I set up a model : Analyze>fit model> added effects and response > clicked Run

Opened the profiler, and the simulator inside the profiler.

Added random noise,

simulated to table just to make sure.

When I saved the script for the report window to the data table, the script contained the settings for the factors used in the simulation, as well as the random noise.

This means that I can run the report from the data table script, and then run the Simulate to table again (of course, the values are different, because its a new simulation)

...and I don't have to write any JSL to do it.

Re: Retrieve fit model simulator settings from simulated data tables

Thanks for the response! I have been saving my fit model with simulator settings to data table. I was curious if with a saved simulated data table I could retrieve those settings to confirm that the specific set of simulated data was generated from the correct settings at a later time.
