Meenu Hinduja and Dheeraj Sudan-How do I overlay multiple histograms in JMP?

Hi Everyone, I am Dheeraj Sudan, a UK-based software developer, and I manage a business with my wife, Meenu Hinduja. I’m trying to overlay multiple histograms in JMP to compare distributions, but I’m not sure what the best or recommended approach is.

Hi @MDheerajSudan,

You can create a visualization to overlay multiple histograms very easily with the Graph Builder : https://www.jmp.com/support/help/en/19.0/#page/jmp/example-of-an-overlaid-histogram-and-ridgeline-ch...
You'll need in your dataset a column referencing the different distribution categories/groups and a column with the values.

If you want to analyze difference in means or variances across the groups, the platform Fit Y by X (Oneway analysis) can help you.

Hope this answer will help you,
