Jitter points not working; JMP 17.2.0 (Mac)

In a Y by X plot, the Display Options>>Points Jittered is yielding points completely spread, and not jittered as in previous versions.

Does the workaround by Dan from this post JMP 17 Fit Y by X Points NOT jittered help (right click, customize, marker and change Jitter "style")
