There is a lot of valuable data stored in Excel file formats. Unfortunately, this data is often formatted in ways that makes it difficult to use in JMP. The new Excel Import Wizard in JMP 11 for Windows aims to alleviate the pain of the import process. It provides a preview mechanism and a variety of options for specifying the shape of the data. This session will explore all of the options of the wizard and demonstrate the flexibility it provides through scripting, as well.
