Over the last 10 years, deep learning has started a revolution in the field of statistical and machine learning, including breakthroughs in near-human-level image classification, speech recognition and superhuman Go playing. In this talk, we will start by explaining the approach that deep learning takes for supervised classification problems. We will then demonstrate how to implement deep learning in JMP using the R and Matlab integration. Several examples and applications will be shown throughout the talk.
