Aziza Yormirzaeva is passionate about discovering applications of mathematical concepts in the field of data science to help Corning reach analytical excellence. She supports cross-disciplinary teams for research, development, engineering and manufacturing projects. And she applies statistical techniques to solve a diverse scope of problems, exercising judgment about which methods will lead to solutions. Yormirzaeva began her career at Corning as a statistician. She spends her free time volunteering and doing pro-bono consulting. Recently, Yormirzaeva supported medical research with statistical evaluations to understand the root causes of hearing loss in the elderly. She has a MSc in mathematics from University of Kaiserslautern, Germany.
